Summary: The property was fine, all equipments were there, towels, bedcoverings were also disponible. Only the wifi was bad, in the house we cannot use the internet, so we had some problems with it.

Summary: We loved this place. It is very well situated on a main road (which is still pretty quiet) with an easy 10 minute walk up a slight hill to the village to get coffee and morning baguette. There are a couple nice restaurants in town (highly recommend Le 6 a Table) and it is easy to get to several other small towns in the area. The gite itself is comfortable and stays surprisingly cool during very hot weather. Anyone staying in the second bedroom has to come through the first bedroom to access the rest of the rental but this didn't bother us. The pool is actually beside the owner's home about 100 feet away which feels a little awkward at first traipsing into their back yard but Gilles and Cerise very quickly make you feel at home. The grounds are very nicely kept with a couple different spots for sitting. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wifi is not accessible while you are inside the gite, you have to go outside. Also the equipment in the kitchen is not top rate (dull knives etc) but this is very common in any rental. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to a friend. Have fun and make sure to take full advantage of the wealth of local information and hospitality of Gilles and Cerise!

Summary: We had a fabulous stay in Caromb. It's the perfect location to travel around Provence. The hosts were excellent at guiding us to the best places to visit in the surroundings. The cottage was extremely well equipped and there were dining areas inside and outside dedicated to the visitors. The bedrooms and ensuite were loving and beautifully furnished. A special thank to Gilles and Cerise for their warm welcome and their dedication on making our stay highly pleasant. We definitely recommend it.

Summary: Deilig lite hus i hjertet av Provence!! Vi ankom ettermiddagen lørdag 13 juli 2013. Solen skinte fra en skyfri himmel. Gilles og familien ga oss en varm velkomst. Vi følte oss umiddelbart velkomne. Kjøleskapet var fylt med grunnleggende mat slik at det ikke var noe behov for å handle den første dagen! I det man kommer inn møtes man av en smakfullt dekorert stue og hele huset dufter av Lavendel. Utenfor er det stille og kun en kort tur over gårdsplassen til et fantastisk svømmebasseng. Flere dager kom vi hjem til en kurv med ferske lokale grønnsaker og nylagte egg på trappen. Det hele ble toppet med en nydelig rykende varm kirsebær pai (Tusen takk Cerise!!) Vertskapet er imøtekommende og bistår deg med alt du måtte lure på. Vi ønsket å se på Tour de France i forbindelse med Mont Ventoux etappen, Gilles hjalp oss til å finne en plass på Col de Madelene som kun de lokale kjenner til. Vi fikk fantastiske anbefalinger om hvor vi burde kjøpe vin og hvilke byer vi burde besøke (Salt er en fantastisk by for alt som dreier seg om Lavendel). Etter en uke hos Gilles og Cerise føler man seg avslappet og nesten som en del av familien. For de som er sykkelinteresserte er det mange fine sykkelturer i nærområdet, ikke minst turen opp Mont Ventoux (jeg brukte 2,5 timer). Det eneste negative under oppholdet er at Wifi ikke er tilgjengelig inne i huset men kun ute på gårdsplassen (noe som jo også er behagelig når man sitter under et oliventre). Jeg ville definitivt anbefale dette huset til endre!

Summary: Location très bien aménagée et très bien située au pied du Mont Ventoux. Idéale pour 4 personnes. Et quel accueil!Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins pour vous et très attachants. La piscine est très, très agréable !Quant aux alentours c'est un vrai enchantement : vignes, oliviers, petits villages provençaux : un délice ! Allez-y!La Provence est un vrai Paradis!
